APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES

New business:  The minutes are now being posted on the WEB.  Nancy sends them to Gary Wellborn and he sends them to Kim.

December 10th meeting was at the Wilsons for a holiday party.

Minutes read as recovered from the December meeting. The tape recorder was illegible.   Jack clarified the December issue that the badges are Disaster Workers Badges not ARES badges. They allow us to go into areas in time of disaster and allow us to work down at the command post if needed.  The orange badges we had before  are equivalent.  The County is paying for the Disaster badges.  We would have to pay for the ARES badges.  We are working to get them set up in the future.

So the HAMs would be able to run packet if called upon.

Due to the lack of heat we had our meeting in the Command Center.  Smitty 's loaner antenna f/u.  CDF wants us to use an aluminum mast which is very expensive.
