Nancy read notes of Dec.10th meeting at Nancy and Jerry's House. Notes of Jan. 20th meeting were read and approved.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Bank Balances in checking account, and in the reserve account. Number of Members is 36. Jack Foster reported: $946.00 in our reserve account. Members: 36. Regular account: $879.91

COMMITTEE REPORTS: Repeaters, Antennas, Event Communications, Emergency Planning: Jerry reported on Packet being set up at the hospital. Nancy said there was a new SHARC members list. The newsletter is in the works. Jerry: The new HAM class is on their 7th meeting. The 8th will be next week They will have a test soon. There are 6-7 in this new class. Gary: There is a partial list of the 36 members on the website. Gary would like to post Name, Call Sign and City of the member. Jack: There will be an Emergency Preparedness Meeting at CDF 1:00p.m. on the Alderpoint Road, Garberville. They will be setting up Packet.

OLD BUSINESS: None

NEW BUSINESS: Nancy proposed a trip to Pratt Mountain in May to see the Antenna Farm and Spring Flowers. We will go in the third or fourth week when the weather is nice. We will picnic.

OPEN FORUM: Jerry announced a couple of members have been using Packet to contact each other on the International Space Station Repeater. The International Space Station is on 2 meters: 145.80. The uplink is 145.99 sometimes 145.825. You have 4-6 minutes to transmit. Check with Gary Wellborn or Lamar Hudson on how to set up your Packet TNC. Gary Wellborn said it is challenging. But, great fun! Call Gary or Lamar if you are interested. Jerry: encouraged new students with scanners to listen to the meeting tonight as they are not yet certified to use their ham radios.

DOOR PRIZE: All those attending will have their names put in the box for the drawing. holiday drawing. Thirteen people checked in for the meeting.
