Called to Order at 7:30 pm on 146.79 MHz  by Pres. Jack km6te

Treasurers Report:
    Account Balances:
        Checking   =  $  265.43
        Savings      =  $    51.29
        Equipment =  $  918.57

    Account Activity:
        About $600.00 grant due to the club from The Humboldt Working Together Group

    Eleven paid club members for 2007 as of today.



Committee Report & Old Business:
    Repeaters:  Grasshopper  147.33 MHz - no date set for field service trip
                         Shelter Cove  146.94 MHz - machine seems down at times


    HAM Class:  Tech Class starts mid-February with 4 students so far
                            Redwood Times Ad running for 2 weeks
                            Class about 6 sessions & Jack has the new textbooks


    Garberville Fire Station Radio:  no power supply for new gel cell batteries
                                                           Leland has a supply he could donate to station


    CDF Fire Station:  HF antenna is broke .... need to repair



New Business:
    Club's 40 foot antenna "crank-tower" parked at Jacks ?
    Discussion opted to keep tower for an emergency incident.

    Club project grant of $600.+  for Equipment fund use ?
    Suggested Grasshopper repeater link controller with battery level telemetry capabilities.



Open Forum:
    Possible Club face-to-face monthly meeting in April or May
    Jerry suggested the G-ville fire hall ..... Gary suggested a BBQ


    FCC has dropped the Morse code requirement for amateur licenses.


    New Spring exercise for area to test remote stations.
    Noted questionable equipment at RRHC and Briceland Fire
